IN THE WEST GROVE

Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for. We are the change that we seek. –Barack Obama

The Human Services Coalition (HSC) is a nonprofit based in Miami.  HSC is dedicated to helping communities thrive.  HSC inspires community members to get involved and prepares them to step up to leadership roles that lead to long-term community transformation.  HSC supports individuals, organizations and communities to create a more just, equitable and caring society.

We are looking for people from different ages and backgrounds to join the Neighborhood Leadership Program.

  • Have access to HSC’s Prosperity Campaign program to help you access health, financial, housing and other services for you and your family.
  • Gain additional access to skill training in community and legislative advocacy training, Networking and Civic Involvement opportunities through HSC’s Civic Life Academy

In order to participate in the program, you must:

  • Live, work or volunteer in The West Grove
  • Be 18 years of age or older
  • Care about making your community a better place to live, work and raise families
